Kapil Sharma and Sumona Chakravarti got into a friendly banter as they got ready to shoot for The Kapil Sharma Show
Bollywood actor and ace comedian Kapil Sharma enjoys a huge following on his social media. Having made a name for himself in the industry with the down-to-earth personality and witty comeback. He recently took to his YouTube channel, to share his first vlog where he shared glimpses of his trip to the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show and behind-the-scenes from before they start shooting.
After giving his fans a trip from his house to Film City, where the set of his show is located, Kapil gives everyone a tour backstage. He interacts with his cast members one by one. He also gives the audience a glimpse of his friendly banter with co-star Sumona Chakravarti. During their back-and forth, the comedian informs his fans about the actress’ recent trip to London. He complains that she went abroad for just 7 days. He adds, “Gareeb aadmi, humare jaise ko mauka mil jaye toh 6-6 mahine tak waapis nahi aayenge.”
Taking a step forward, she roasted him back by saying, “Haan, bhagwan sabko tumhare jitna gareeb banaye.” Kapil then jokingly adds, “Nazar laga de beda gark hojaye,” which makes everyone burst out laughing.

For the unversed the entire team is all set to fly out soon on a tour to the USA. It was reported that the show will go on a hiatus soon. Talking about the same, Indian Express had quoted a source stating, “Seasonal breaks have actually worked for the show giving us a chance to stir up things in terms of content and cast. Also, comedy is a tough genre and actors need a break so that monotony doesn’t set in. Everyone can return refreshed and we can experiment with a different format and some new characters.”
On the work front, Kapil Sharma returned to the big-screens with his slice-of-life film, Zwigato. He is also handling his comedy-chat show The Kapil Sharma Show.
